Peace not wars Needed

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad underscored that the US role is mainly characterized with threats , sanctions and support for terrorism.

 Receiving the visiting US Senator, Richard Black, President Assad pointed out that the US changing of such a role as to make peace instead of causing wars, destabilizing the stability of countries would be more beneficial for the US and for its people.

 Senator Black stressed that the policies pursued by consecutive US Administrations in the Middle East made the people of the region lose trust in all of the US policy, pointing out that the achievement of US interests repaired from the USA, people and officials, to work for changing such policies.

 Senator Black wished the restoration of peace and stability to Syria and wished the defeat of terrorism in every part of Syria, voicing appreciations for the return of life to normalcy in many of the regions cleansed from terrorism.
