Army General Command: The Syrian people are facing systematic media and terrorist war aiming at destabilizing the country’s security

The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces said in a statement that “our people have been facing for several days, especially since this morning, a systematic media and terrorist war aimed at destabilizing the security of the homeland and citizens and spreading chaos and panic in a way that serves the aggressors’ agenda.

The General Command added “the media platforms affiliated with the terrorists have not stopped publishing misleading videos and false news about the events taking place across the Syrian geography”.

“Our valiant army continues to carry out its qualitative operations against terrorist gatherings at high rates in the directions of Hama and Homs countrysides and the northern Daraa countryside, eliminating and injuring hundreds of terrorists and destroying dozens of vehicles and many headquarters, caches, weapons and ammunition,” the General Command also said.

The Command continued by saying “our armed forces are strengthening their deployment lines throughout Damascus countryside and the southern region to prevent any incidents resulting from the chaos that terrorists are trying to create through their platforms, tools and sleeper cells in some areas”.

The General Command stressed the importance of awareness about the big scheme prepared against Syria, calling on citizens not to believe rumors and to trust the army that has dedicated itself to preserving the citizens’ security and ensuring their future.
