Presidency of the Republic: President Al-Assad is assuming his work, national and constitutional duties from Damascus

Damascus- Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic affirmed Saturday that President Bashar al-Assad is assuming his work, national and constitutional tasks from the capital, Damascus.

“Some foreign media publish rumors and false news about President Bashar al-Assad leaving Damascus, or visits to one country or another,” The presidency said in a statement.

The statement added that Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic denies all those rumors, noting to their uncovered goals, and stresses that they are not new, rather, these platforms have previously followed this pattern of attempts to mislead and influence the Syrian state and society throughout the past years of war.

The Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic said that President Al-Assad is following up on his work and national and constitutional tasks from the capital, Damascus, stressing that all news, activities and stances related to President Al-Assad come from the platforms of the Presidency of the Republic and the Syrian national media.
