Baghaei: Allegations about the evacuation of the Iranian Embassy in Damascus are not true

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said on Saturday that the Iranian Embassy in Damascus continues its normal activities and the allegations about its evacuation are not true.

In reply to a question by the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, Baghaei said “the allegations regarding the evacuation of the Iranian embassy in Damascus are incorrect, and the embassy is still operating and continuing its normal activities”.
