Zakharova: The United States ignores the rights of other countries
Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova considered that the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan showed the United States’ disregard for the rights of other countries.
Russia Today website quoted Zakharova as saying today on the Telegram platform, commenting on the summoning of the US ambassador to China, Nicholas Burns, by the Chinese authorities, that “the ambassador understands that the United States, by provoking it again, showed its disregard for the rights of other countries,” noting that American diplomats in China were unable to speak out of fear of public anger.
Zakharova added that “the Americans should not talk about respect for international law after Washington violated its obligations towards Beijing.”
