Paris- (ST)- The Syrian Olympic weightlifter Maan As’ad achieved the 5th place in the weightlifting competition for the over 102 kg weight at the Paris Olympics.
Weightlifter Maan lifted 197 kg in the snatch and 241 kg in the clean and jerk, with a total weight of 438 kg.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian delegation’s participation in the Olympics included swimming, judo, athletics and gymnastics competitions, while the equestrian Amr Hamsho did not participate in the equestrian race due to his horse’s injury.
