US-backed SDF militia kills two young men in Deir Ezzor countryside

Two young men were martyred on Saturday when the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Militia opened fire on them in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor province.

The SDF militia opened fire directly on one of the sons of a dignitary of a clan in the town of Mheimideh in Deir Ezzor western countryside, killing him immediately, local sources told SANA.

Earlier, the sources said, another young man was martyred by the SDF militia’s random machinegun fire towards locals at the Euphrates Bank in the village of Zgheir Jazireh in Deir Ezzor western countryside.

The sources pointed out that the SDF’s fire shooting caused a state of panic among the locals, particularly women and children.
