UNRWA: Gaza inhabitants are suffering from catastrophic hunger

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees UNRWA warned that residents of the Gaza Strip are suffering from catastrophic hunger.

UNRWA said in a post on the “X” platform: “Children in Gaza are dying from malnutrition and dehydration,” noting that the residents of the Strip “are clinging to life and have been repeatedly displaced through devastated areas and are looking forward to returning to their homes.”

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, spoke in a statement the day before yesterday about the extent of the suffering that Palestinian children are experiencing as a result of the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza.  Lazzarini said: Ten children lose a leg or two every day as a result of the Israeli aggression.
