U.S. is the main mastermind of crimes against Arab peoples, especially the Syrian people, says Russian expert  

Moscow, (ST) – Sergei Markov, Director of the Institute for Political Studies and member of the Defense Policy Council in Russia affirmed that the United States plays the role of the main mastermind of all conspiracies and crimes committed against Arab peoples, especially the Syrian people.

In an interview with SANA’s correspondent in Moscow, Markov calrified that the American occupation of Syrian lands and the plundering of its natural resources and wealth, in addition to the Western coercive measures imposed on Syria, deepen the suffering of the Syrian people, who have the full right to resist the occupation and its agents and expel the occupiers from their country.

On the other hand, Markov described the Israeli occupation aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip as “barbaric”. He pointed out that the head of the Israeli entity’s government, Benjamin Netanyahu, is deliberately killing Palestinian children and their families in Gaza with the aim of forcing the Palestinians to leave their lands to be replaced by Israeli settlers.

In a similar interview, Viktor Nodin-Yerevsky, Director of the Institute for Political and Social Studies of the Black Sea and Caspian Region and Senior Researcher at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences condemned the American occupation of Syrian territories.

He stressed that the Americans have no right to remain on the territory of a sovereign state and a member of the United Nations. He stated that the Syrian people will triumph over all invaders as they triumphed over the forces of international terrorism with the help of all their friends.
