Two UNIFIL soldiers injured in an Israeli attack on the international forceheadquarters in Al-Naqoura

Two UNIFIL soldiers were injured in hostile Israeli artillery shelling targeting  the main entrance to the UNIFIL command center in Naqoura.

The Lebanese National Information Agency reported that a hostile Mercava tank fired an artillery at a UNIFIL tower on the public road linking Tyre to al-Naqurah in front of the Lebanese Army barrier, injuring two Sri Lankan battalion soldiers and damaging the entrance.

A source at the United Nations announced yesterday that Israeli forces opened fire on 3 UNIFIL positions at the General Headquarters in Ras al-Naqoura, injuring two soldiers belonging to the forces, who are of Indonesian nationality.
