Two new gold medals for Syria in swimming at the Arab Games in Algeria

Omar Abbas and Juana Rayyes, two Syrian swimmers who are members of the Syrian swimming team participating the 15th Arab Games in Algeria, won two gold medals on Thursday .

Abbas obtained his gold medal in the 200m freestyle, while Rayyes won the gold medal in the 800m freestyle race.

On Wednesday, Abbas won a gold medal in the men’s 400m freestyle, while Rayyes, earlier today, obtained a silver medal in the 100m freestyle.

The two new gold medals rise the number of the medals, obtained by the Syrian teams to nine; three gold, three silver and three bronze.
