New York (ST): The outgoing US administration of President Donald Trump has voted against the UN budget for this year affirming its flagrant bias to the Israeli occupation entity. The US rejected the inclusion of a funding for commemorating an international conference for combatting racism in South Africa in its budget.
France Press Agency said that at the end of the UN General Assembly, 167 states voted in favour of the UN budget for the year 2021 which is estimated at 3.231 billion US dollars. The US was the only state which voted against the budget along with the Israeli occupation entity.
Separately, the member states voted for another resolution that supports the following up of the Durban conference for combatting racism. 106 states voted for the resolution, 44 abstained and 14 voted against it including the US, Israel, Britain, France and Germany.
