Islamabad (ST): Three people were injured in an explosion at a petrol station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwest Pakistan.
Xinhua quoted the local police as saying today: “Initial investigations revealed that the explosion was caused by a gas leak at the provincial gas station, injuring three people, who were taken to hospital for necessary treatment.” The police indicated that the station may face a heavy fine or close for an indefinite period if it is found that it failed to follow the safety rules.
