The Israeli occupation forces uproot olive trees and saplings west of Salfit in the West Bank

The Israel occupation forces on Wednesday stormed the village of Deir Ballut, west of the West Bank city of Salfit, and uprooted over a thousand olive saplings and trees, according to WAFA News Agency.

The occupation forces closed the western part of the village prevented the Palestinian farmers from entering their agricultural lands and brought a bulldozer to destroy over a thousand olive trees and saplings that belong to the farmers.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirms that the Israeli occupation war on olive trees is part of its colonialist Judaization plans that aim at stealing more Palestinian lands. The ministry urges the international community to enforce international legitimacy resolutions and put an end to the Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinians.

Meantime, the occupation demolished a house in the city of Lydda, which has been occupied by Israel since 1948.

Over the past weeks, the occupation authorities have escalated the demolition of Palestinian houses and shops in the towns of Lydda, Al-Tira and Kafr Qasim in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, as part of implementing settlement plans that would threaten the future of the Palestinians.
