The US-backed SDF militias kidnapped a number of civilians in the Kasrat area in Raqqa countryside

On January 3rd, the US-backed SDF militias continued their crimes against civilians in the occupied towns and villages in northeast Syria and kidnapped a number of civilians in the Kasrat village, 7kms southeast of Raqqa city.

Local sources said that armed groups of the SDF militiamen raided the Kasrat villages and kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to unknown destinations.

The sources said that the militiamen attacked the people as part of the militias’ policy of pressure to force civilians to leave their villages and towns or fight in their ranks.

On January 2, the SDF militiamen kidnapped at least 20 civilians from the village of Abu Al-Nitel in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor and took them to unknown destinations.
