Speaker of the Tunisian People’s Assembly Ibrahim Bouderbalah discussed with Mohamed Al-Qadah, President of the Damascus-based Arab Union for Productive Families and Handcrafts (AUPFH), during a meeting at the Bardo Palace in the Tunisian capital today, ways to enhance cooperation between Syria and Tunisia in various fields.
Bouderbalah stressed the depth of the distinguished fraternal ties and deep-rooted relations between Tunisia and Syria, welcoming the return of relations between the two countries, providing a platform for continuously strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially the economic, academic and cultural ties.
In turn, Al-Qadah reviewed the structure of the union and its activities aimed at caring for productive families, activating their role in society, and meeting their development needs. He pointed to the importance of strengthening the union’s cooperation with Tunisia in various fields, and expressed his hope to achieve the establishment of a joint Arab market for handmade and craft products, given their diversity and distinctiveness in the Arab countries.
Last Tuesday, the Arab Union of Productive Families, Crafts and Traditional Industries signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly in Tunisia, to support and develop the sector of productive families and craft and traditional industries between the two sides.
