The Russian Foreign Ministry: The countries of the world should unite efforts to build a more just economic system

Moscow (ST): Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Bankin stressed that the sanctions imposed on Russia are unjust, calling on the countries of the world to unite efforts to build a more just global economic system.

Russia Today website quoted Bankin as saying before a forum of the United Nations Economic and Social Council that “Russia is now under unprecedented pressure from sanctions, and this is unfair, because it is based on lies and hypocrisy,” noting that the cause of the current problems in economic development in the world is the economic system, which is reinforced by “the unwillingness of Western countries to reconsider the current financial system, which narrows the rights and interests of countries.”
