A variety of food products, sweets and chocolate, in addition to cotton and ready-made clothes, were among the products of four war-wounded people that displayed in the Ramadan Al-Khair market organized by Aleppo Governorate and the Chamber of Commerce in the Chamber’s Festival Market.
The old-fashioned copper objects such as Ramadan lanterns, coffee pots, and household utensils that adorned the old houses of Aleppo in addition to all these products, were well received by visitors and shoppers of the exhibition due to their affordable prices that satisfy all segments of society.
Wounded Samer Hajjo, who participates in the exhibition in ready-made clothes and cotton products, explained that he was injured during the battles fought by the Syrian Arab Army to liberate Aleppo from terrorism . He indicated that after receiving treatment, with the will and determination, and with the help of his parents he returned to work and established a sewing workshop where he received the necessary support from the Jareeh Watan project.
Hajjo pointed out that he participates in the exhibition with his products to prove to everyone that the wounded are able to continue giving and producing and he is eager to participate in the other upcoming exhibitions in Aleppo.
Wounded Ahmed Mo’men, who participates in printing on clothing and ready-made products, said that he has been supported by the “homeland wounded” project, as he received a financial grant that enabled him to return to his main work, which is printing on clothes, and founded a small project. ” Today I am happy with my participation in this market, through which I can market my products directly to the consumer, thus achieving my goals and hopes to return to life and start once again, work to achieve the slogan of “hope in work” and contribute to build Syria.”
Wounded Hussein Abdel Qader Nimra indicated that he did not stand quiet or helpless because of his injury, and his determination and firm will helped him to recover, stand again, participate in production, and work in the profession of fathers and grandfathers. He displayed copper traditional and oriental handmade products, such as the Arabic coffee pots, Ramadan lanterns with acceptable and encouraging prices, expressing his hope to participate in the upcoming events and exhibitions.
Wounded Wa ‘el-Ahmad said that he participates in various confectionery and chocolate products, stressing that with the help of the Homeland Wounded Project, he was able to work and return to life, addressing every wounded person not to succumb to the injury and not to stop, because the difficulty of life requires will, determination, and success.
