Homs (ST): The charity market “The Path of Hope”, which is organized by the Syrian Society for Cancer Control in Homs in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in the exhibition city in the Al-Waer neighborhood, and its proceeds go to support cancer patients, includes a wide variety of stationery, school supplies, food, detergents, catering and electrical materials and furniture.
Dr. Zahi Al-Shawaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cancer Control Association in Homs, explains that the charitable market comes within the framework of the association’s endeavor to provide all forms of material and moral support to the patients registered with the association, who currently number about 300 patients, including 36 children.
In turn, the supervisor of the charitable market, Firas Moussalli, shows that it displays the products of 22 national companies, which are distinguished by their quality and competitive prices for the local market, and include a wide range of commodities.
At the wholesale price, Omar Khalili, the owner of a library, sells various school supplies of stationery in the charitable market without profit, as a generosity to cancer patients and in support of this segment of society.
In the pavilion of a detergent company, Batoul Ali explains that the company offers products in the charitable market with discounts of up to 15 percent, while Rawa Sheikh Suleiman supervises a pavilion of various cotton, jeans and linen clothes with discounts of up to 20 percent, in order to contribute to supporting cancer patients.
