The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to put an end to the impunity of the Israeli occupation

On June 2nd, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to put an end to the impunity of the Israeli occupation for its crimes.

The Ministry said that these crimes constitute a stain on the forehead of the international community and countries that glorify their commitment to human rights principles while practicing double standards when it comes to Palestinian human rights.

The Ministry said in a statementhat the Israeli occupationtakes advantage of the silence of the international community, continues to commit murders against the Palestinians, the latest of which was the martyrdom of three young men and the wounding of dozens by its forces’ bullets during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry said that the  Israeli occupation perpetuates the operations of repression, abuse and mass arrests, escalates incursions into cities, towns and villages and attacks on Palestinians and their property.

The Ministry affirmed that the silence of the international community on the crimes of the occupation constitutes a cover and protects it from accountability and encourages it to escape punishment.

The Ministry added that it is following up on these crimes at all levels, especially the International Criminal Court and national courts in countries and at the political, diplomatic, bilateral and multilateral levels.
