The Israeli occupation forces prevented today Palestinian farmers from picking olives in the town of Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm in the West Bank.
The mayor of Deir al-Ghusun, Yazid al-Qubb, told Wafa Agency that the occupation forces closed the three gates along the apartheid wall in the west of the town, which isolates 2,400 dunums planted with olives thus preventing the farmers from reaching it.
Al-Qabb pointed out that these actions caused great damage to farmers, depending on their livelihood on olives, especially that the occupation forces always delay in opening the gates since the harvest season, or restrict entry and return to specific times and under strict procedures.
Yesterday ,the Israeli settlers stormed into the lands of Wadi Al-Joz in occupied Jerusalem and they stole the olives.
