The number of Coronavirus infections and deaths has declined around the world, according to WHO

The World Health Organization announced that it recorded a decrease in the number of Coronavirus infections and deaths  in the world during the week from 15 to 21 February. Coronavirus infections dropped  11 percent, while the number of deaths decreased by 20 percent compared to the previous week.

The organization clarified in its weekly epidemiological bulletin issued today that the number of new infections with the Coronavirus increased during the week that ended on the 21st  of this month by two million and 457 thousand cases, while deaths increased by 66,359 cases, noting that this represents a decrease in the number of infections for the sixth consecutive week.
