The mayor of Al-Naima municipality and the secretary of the party section in the town were killed by unknown assailants
On May 16th, the Mayor of the Al-Naima town and the secretary of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party section were martyred in the town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, as a result of being shot at by unidentified gunmen.
Unidentified gunmen directly shot Awad Al-Aboud, who is assigned to head of the Al-Naima town council, and Fouad Al-Aboud, the secretary of the party’s section in the same town, killing them instantly.
A source in the Daraa Hospital said in a statement that two dead citizens arrived at the emergency department as a result of being shot in the chest.
On the 23rd of last December, the mayor of Al-Naima Municipality, Alaa Al-Aboud was martyred and a civilian was wounded by the explosion of an explosive device planted by unknown persons near the Khirbet roundabout in the city of Daraa.
