The Iraqi forces start a broad security operation against ISIS terrorists

On January 12, the Iraqi forces announced the destruction of the hideouts of the terrorist ISIS organization and the confiscation of weapons in Jazeret al-Haddar, south of Mosul.

The Operations Command said in a statement

that the participating forces managed to destroy three new ISIS hideouts, one of which contains Austrian-made missiles, explosive materials and devices that the ISIS terrorists were planning to launch attacks with against citizens and the security forces.

The Operations Command confirmed that the participating forces carried out their missions despite the ISIS’s explosive devices in order to obstruct progress.
