The Children’s Parliament in the liberated countryside of Raqqa discusses the reality of the governorate in the presence of those concerned
The 38 members of the Children’s Parliament in the liberated countryside of Raqqa discussed the living and services reality, as their questions were answered by those concerned.
The Secretary of the Vanguards of Al-Baath branch in Raqqa, Muhammad Al-Khalaf, explained that the aim of establishing the Children’s Parliament is to develop children’s dialogue and communication skills, and to provide them with a culture of respecting other opinions, exercising their electoral right, and showing a sense of responsibility.
A member of the leadership of the Vanguards of the Baath branch in Raqqa, head of the Culture Office, Mona Abdullah, stated that the Children’s Parliament is nothing but the best example of the organization’s role in caring for children, daring in expression, communication, taking responsibility and expressing opinion, which is an embodiment of the true meaning of democracy.
Saleh Al-Fares and Yaman Al-Mohammed, who are members of the Children’s Parliament, explained that their presence in Parliament is to convey the needs of children and the problems they face and to participate in finding solutions to them with those concerned.
The Children’s Parliament was attended by the Secretary of the Raqqa branch of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party, Abdul Aziz Al-Issa, members of the branch’s leadership, members of the People’s Assembly for the Province, the head of the provincial council and directors of official departments.
