The Army advances in the graveyards area in Deir Ezzor city’s outskirts

DeirEzzor – Army and Armed Forces units, in cooperation with supporting forces and covered by the Air Force, destroyed on Wednesday gatherings for ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of Deir Ezzor city.

The army units, backed by supporting forces, engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of the graveyards area at the southern outskirts of Deir Ezzor city, which resulted in achieving new advance in the area and inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and weaponry, SANA reported.

 

SANA added that the Air Force targeted with concentrated strikes the movements, vehicles, and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the intersection of al-Tharda area south of the airport, destroying many of their vehicles, a mortar launcher, and a heavy machinegun.

SANA also said that airstrikes were carried out against ISIS positions and movements in the areas of factories, al-Makabbat, Seriet Jnied, and the Electricity company south of Deir Ezzor city, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
