The American Intel Corporation suspends its project in occupied Palestine

Washington, (ST) –  The American giant Intel Corporation suspended the expansion of its factory in the occupied Palestinian territories against the backdrop of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which entered its ninth month and led to a stifling economic crisis that the occupying entity is experiencing despite its attempts to hide it.

AP quoted the company as saying: “Intel was scheduled to pump additional investments worth 15 billion US dollars; but the project was suspended against the backdrop of the situation in the region”

The American group announced at the end of last December its intention to expand a factory under construction in the “Kiryat Gat” settlement in the south of the occupied Palestinian territories at a cost of 10 billion dollars.

The Israeli entity is witnessing an economic crisis and tense conditions due to its ongoing aggression on Gaza Strip, the shutdown of many factories and facilities, and the boycott of many countries and international companies.
