The al-Wadi Conference for Syrian doctors in the homeland and abroad concluded its work today with a series of medical lectures at Al-Wadi International Private University in Homs countryside.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the president of al-Wadi University, Dr. Shafiq Bassil, stressed ” the importance of lectures and scientific research presented at the conference over two days, which enriched the participating doctors with modern and advanced information and technologies in a number of medical specialties.”
For his part, Dr. Hanna Barjoud from France pointed out that the conference is an opportunity and an important scientific and medical gathering where participants present specialized lectures and exchange opinions, ideas and information about the new in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Rou’a Abdul Rahman from Latakia considered the conference a great chance to learn about the latest scientific findings, and an important meeting to exchange experiences with medical colleagues abroad to access the best patient care.
Dr. Jack Elshamy considered that the conference is an incentive to play an important humanitarian medical role, especially that the meeting of doctors aims to develop information and learn about modern medical achievements to improve health services for patients.
It is noteworthy that the conference lasted for two days, and doctors in various specialties from Syria, the United States, France, Britain, Spain and Germany participated as they presented 40 medical lectures.
