Terrorists in Idlib de-escalation zone plotting a provocation to accuse the Syrian and Russian forces of attacking civilians
Moscow- Terrorist groups positioned in Idlib de-escalation zone are plotting a provocation to accuse the Russian and Syrian servicemen of using weapons against civilians, Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Syria, rear Admiral Oleg Gurinov, said in a news conference.
“According to information received by the Russian Coordination Center from residents of the Idlib de-escalation zone, leaders of terrorist groups are readying provocations aimed at accusing the armed forces of Syria and Russia of using weapons against the civilian population in the town of Deir Sunbul (26 kilometers south of Idlib),” clarified Gurinov, calling on armed groups to refrain from provocations and join the reconciliation process.
In the same context, Gurinov said that 5 attacks by the terrorists of Jabhat Al-Nusra and the Turkistan Islamic Party were registered in the Idlib de-escalation zone and some safe areas in the past hours.
