Tamiko’s sales value hit over SYP.12.3 billion during the first nine months of 2021

During the first nine months of 2021, the sales value of the Arab Company for the pharmaceutical industry “Tamiko”  reached over 12.3 billion Syrian pounds increasing by 216% in comparison with the same period in 2020. 
 
According to  the marketing and production report which was issued by  the company, the value of production hit more the  SYP. 12.6 billion and 50 types of medicine were produced.  
 
As for the production  of antibiotics, the company’s director-general Dr. Fedaa Ali said that there is a sufficient quantity of this type of medicine and there is  no shortage of raw materials that are required for its production. 
 
He added that the company plans to import raw materials for producing ointment but the unjust siege being imposed o  the country and its economic repercussions prevent exporters from signing contracts with Tamiko.
