Damascus (ST) – The symposium held at the Cultural Center in Kafr Sousa focused on the Arab-Zionist conflict and its consequences on the Arab, regional and international region. The researcher Dr. Ibrahim Zaarour and the writer Dr. Hassan Hamid participated in the symposium to shed light on the repercussions of the Arab-Zionist conflict.
Researcher Zaarour talked about the historical roots of the Arab-Zionist conflict, colonial ambitions, the division of Arab countries, and the role of Western politics supporting and partnering with the Zionist entity in the process of killing, destruction and intimidation against our Arab peoples.
He pointed to important role of Syria, especially in the summit held recently in Riyadh.
The writer Hamid focused on the stages of the Arab-Zionist conflict, and the suffering of our steadfast people in Gaza, as a result of the Zionist barbarism against them, and the world’s failure to take a humanitarian stance.
He disregarded the bloody events in the Arab region and the weak neutrality in Arab politics.
Hamsa Aliwi, head of the Cultural Center in Kafr Sousa, talked about the importance of the history of struggle of our Arab peoples who reject colonial policies, and stand side by side with the legitimate resistance against the Zionist entity that usurps rights and humanity.
