The Syrian Wrestling team on Monday won three medals, gold one and two bronze ones, in the Arab Games being held in Algeria.
The gold medal was obtained by wrestler Omar Sarem in the 125km category, while the two bronze medals came through wrestlers Omar Tahhan in the Romanian wrestling in the 67kg category and Ibrahim Tabbaa in the freestyle wrestling in the 57 kg category.
Earlier, the Syrian gymnastics team obtained five medals (one silver and 4 bronze) at the conclusion of competitions of the Arab Sports Games in Algeria.
Player Laith Najjar obtained one silver and two bronze, while Alexandra Maksimova won two bronze medals in the balance in the floor movements.
The Syrian teams have so far achieved 33 various medals in the Arab sports games of Algeria.
