Syrian-Tunisian Talks to Strengthen and Promote Aspects of Bilateral Cooperation

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ben Ayad, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Tunisia, Mohamed Mohamed, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and promote it in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

The State Secretary expressed his country’s interest in strengthening cooperation with Syria in various political, economic, commercial and cultural fields. He also reaffirmed his country’s firm position that Syria’s security, sovereignty and independence and the unity of its territory and people should be preserved.

For his part, Ambassador Mohammed pointed out that the two countries have deep-rooted historical, civilizational and cultural ties and share visions and attitudes on issues of common interest.
