The Syrian Arab Football Association and its Iraqi counterpart on Monday signed a cooperation agreement to develop the football sport for all categories.
The agreement provides for reactivating cooperation and exchanging experiences and experts between the two associations with the aim of developing the sport of football, including through holding workshops for Syrian coaches.
Regarding the national teams, the two sides agreed on organizing friendly international matches for all age categories.
According to the agreement, the Iraqi side is due to provide training camps in tge Iraqi sport facilities with the aim of enhancing the skills and performance of the national teams of both sides.
The agreement also provides for exchanging technical expertise in terms of organization and promotion and exchanging referees in official local competitions held in the two countries.
