Syrian air defenses intercept Israeli missiles over Damascus

The Syrian air defenses have intercepted Israeli missiles that targeted some points in Damascus countryside, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

A military source told SANA that “at 12:17 a.m. today, the Israeli enemy carried out a missile attack from the direction of occupied Syrian Golan targeting a site in Damascus countryside”.

The Syrian air defenses confronted the missiles and downed a number of them, the source added, pointing out that the aggression caused some material damage.

The new aggression comes almost a day after the Israeli enemy targeted several points in the vicinity of Damascus, wounding two soldiers and causing material damage.
