Syria wins silver and bronze medals in Iran’s International Geometry Olympiad
Damascus- The Syrian Science Olympiad team won a silver and a bronze medals during its participation in the competitions of the 2023 Iran International Geometry Olympiad, whose competitions were held remotely last October.
The Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement that the medals went to the students Ibrahim Muhammad Huda Al-Owais from Aleppo, and Sariya Muhammad Zaher Ramadan from Damascus in the free and advanced levels.
The Syrian ScienCE Olympiad had won five bronze medals and thirteen certificates of appreciation in its previous participation in the Olympiad in 2022.
It is to be noted that this is the 6th Syrian participation in the Iranian Engineering Olympiad, which has been held annually since 2014.
