Syrian Special Olympics team player Hala Jabr won two medals: gold and bronze respectively, in the 2 km cycling race and the 5 km individual race at the Special Olympics World Games in Germany.
On Wednesday, the Syrian Special Olympics player Bahaa Diab won a gold medal in the freestyle swimming competitions at the World Games, giving Syria its second medal in the tournament after player Sana Sheikh Al-Shabab had won a bronze medal in the breaststroke swimming competition.
The Syrian mission has so far won 4 medala, two gold and two bronze in swimming and cycling.
The Syrian mission participates in 8 sports in the tournament, which are athletics, bocce, gymnastics, swimming, judo, weightlifting and badminton.
