Syria wins a bronze medal on first day of the Arab Junior Athletics Championship in Oman

Muscat – Syrian athlete Shahd Al-Ali won a bronze medal on the first day of the 9th Arab Junior Athletics Championship currently held in Oman.

She obtained the bronze medal in the discus throw competitions.

430 male and female players representing 17 Arab countries, including Syria, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen and Qatar are taking part in the tournament which kicked off yesterday and will last until Monday, September 11th.
