Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, said in a statement on Friday that the US occupation-backed SDF militia launched criminal attacks on the locals in Deir Ezzor, Hasaka and Qamishli, in addition to other villages in the eastern and northeastern regions, these barbaric attacks led to the martyrdom of a number of Syrian citizens, including women and children.

The Syrian Arab Republic reaffirms that the US occupation of part of Syrian territory constitutes a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, the ministry pointed out.

Syria stressed that all these inhuman and immoral practices against its people in the eastern and northeastern regions, including preventing the access of food supplies and drinking water, aim to double the suffering of the Syrians and prolong the war against them, the ministry explained.

Syria called on the US to stop these practices, immediately withdraw from Syrian territory, and respect the will of the Syrians who reject the presence and role of such separatist militias.
