Syria participates in the second regional summit in Tunisia on youth learning and the transition to decent work
Syria is participating in the second regional summit on youth learning, skills acquisition, and transition to decent work, held in Tunisia between the 26th and 27th of this June.
The summit aims to facilitate the exchange of good practices relevant to youth learning, skills and transition to work across the region with a focus on digital and green skills and jobs as well as strengthening and implementing the region’s policy in addition to regulatory frameworks to support youth learning.
Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Anas Al-Dabash confirmed in his speech that Syria has taken many measures to develop legislations regulating the labor market through effective dialogue between workers, the government and employers. The Assistant Minister stressed the importance of the labor market information platform that has been launched, which contributes to providing accurate data about the labor market.
