Syria offers condolences to the DPRK over victims of the floods

Syria has offered its deepest condolences to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) over the victims of the floods that hit the areas near the Amnok River, affirming that the Syrian leadership, government and people voice solidarity with the DPRK.
“The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its feelings of sadness and sympathy, and extends its deepest condolences to the friendly Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, over the victims of the floods that befell the areas near the Amnok River as a result of heavy rains on the northern border of the country” SANA quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates as saying in a statement on Sunday.
Syria affirms its solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and stresses its confidence that the people of Democratic Korea will overcome this ordeal by rallying around their leadership, and will continue their policy in building and prospering their homeland.
