Syria, Iran to enhance cooperation in agriculture field

Damascus, (ST)- Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Eng. Mohammad Hassan Qatana discussed with a delegation of representatives of Iranian companies participating in the Syria Plast Exhibition held at the Damascus Fair Ground the needs of the agricultural sector for production requirements, and the importance of cooperation with friendly countries to secure them in a way that contributes to the development of Syrian agriculture.

Minister Qatana clarified the importance of these specialized exhibitions and the participation of local, Arab and foreign companies, and introducing the most important products and equipment.

He pointed to the investment opportunities available in the agricultural sector, especially fertilizers and the facilities provided and the advantages available through the investment law.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the fifth Syrian International Exhibition for Plastic Industries “Syria Plast 2024” were launched at the Damascus Fair Ground on the 26th of this month and concluded yesterday, with the participation of more than 50 specialized local, Arab and foreign companies.
