Syria, Iran to develop means of joint cooperation

Damascus, (ST) – Assistant Secretary-General of the Baath Arab Socialist Party Hilal Al-Hilal discussed with the Former Iranian Foreign Minister, Chairman of the Council of Foreign Relations, Dr. Kamal Kharrazi means of boosting cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

Al-Hilal affirmed the depth of the relations between the two friendly countries and peoples. He noted the need to benefit from mutual visits, joint coordination, and constructive and positive work that is in the interest of the two countries.

Al-Hilal said that the relations between the two countries are strong and they were established carefully by the leaders of the two countries. He pointed out that these bilateral relations were baptized with the blood of the martyrs of the two countries, who were martyred in defense of Syria against the brutal terrorist aggression.

For his part, Dr. Kharrazi indicated that there is a plan to promote the Western lifestyle in our societies through a psychological media war. He stressed the need to find a kind of dialogue in this field to benefit from the experiences of the two countries.

The two sides also discussed many issues of common interest in light of the rapid changes in the region and the world.
