Syria has stressed that France’s dreams of reviving the legacy of colonialism and hegemony over peoples are no longer valid in the world of today, pointing out that the French diplomacy must reconsider its stances which have nothing to do with reality, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Wednesday.
“We have recently followed the hysteria and the unrealistic attitudes of the French diplomacy following the historic decisions made by the recent Arab Summit in Saudi Arabia regarding Syria,” the ministry said.
It added that “France and its terrorist tools, that have failed to achieve their objectives in Syria, have been blinded that they didn’t recognize the facts and changes taking place in the Arab, regional and international arenas.”
The statement added that dreams of the French diplomts to restore the legacy of colonialism and hegemony over peoples and their capabilities and wealth are no longer valid in today’s world which produces new values based on multipolarity, the rejection of immoral and inhuman economic sanctions, and respect for the sovereignty, independence and equality of States.
“The lagging French diplomacy must revise its positions, because people around the world are aware that the eras of domination and the abuse of their rights in false terms have come to an irreversible end,” the statement continued.
