Syria Expresses its Support for the Russian Federation in the Face of the Ukrainian Aggression on the Kursk Region of Russia

Syria stressed that the terrorist attack carried out by Ukrainian forces on the Russian Kursk region would not have been possible without the collective support of the West, expressing its support for the leadership, army and people of the Russian Federation in its battle against this aggression that threatens regional security and peace.

According to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, SANA received a copy: “The Syrian Arab Republic is following with great concern the news of the Ukrainian forces’ terrorist attack on the Russian region of Kursk targeting civilian facilities, which resulted in the death of innocent civilians, including two ambulance crews, and dozens of injuries, including children.”

Syria affirms that this aggression would not have been possible without the unlimited support that the collective West used to provide to the Zelensky regime, especially in terms of supplying its mercenaries with the latest American and European qualitative weapons in order to add more provocation and escalation against the Russian Federation.

“Condemning this suspicious silence regarding this flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Russian territory, which reveals the Western hypocrisy in dealing with the principles and norms of international law, Syria expresses its sound stand by the Russian leadership, army and people in their fight to confront this aggression, which threatens regional security and peace,” the statement confirmed.
