Syria Condemns the Terrorist Attack on a hotel in the Somali Capital

Syria strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a tourist hotel in the Somali capital Mogadishu, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and government of Somalia.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement of which SANA received a copy today, ” “The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemns the terrorist attack that took place in the Somali capital Mogadishu and targeted a tourist hotel, resulting in a number of innocent civilian casualties.”

Syria extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and to the brotherly government of Somalia, and expresses its solodarity with the people of Somalia at this difficult time.

Syria also affirms its appreciation for the efforts of the Somali government in combating terrorism and enhancing security and stability in the country.
