Strong competition among participating companies in Buildex 2023 

Many modern thermal equipment and alternative energy products were displayed by the “Al-Fayoumi and Zahra” company in the 20th  session of the Buildex 2023 exhibition that kicked off  on the grounds of the new exhibition city in Damascus on the 7th of June.

Eng. Suleiman Salman, who works at the above mentioned company, told Syria Times e-newspaper: “The company is specialized in providing all equipment related to alternative energy, such as solar water heaters, electric energy systems: solar panels, inverters and batteries, pipes, under-floor heating devices, cylinders of different sizes, and many other new products that meet the needs of the market.

“Our company is the exclusive agent of the UAE “ Thomsun” company, which offers high-quality products in the field of alternative energy and thermal systems,” he added, indicating that the company sells its products at wholesale and retail prices upon the demands of customers , and it is ready to equip hotels and homes with all alternative energy systems.

He went on to say: “During the exhibition,  our company takes data of visitors and customers, and it offers discounts for each demand recorded during this event.”

For his part, Bassell Kaadah, the “ company’s sales manager, told us:” We are participating for the first time in the “Buildex 2023” exhibition, which includes strong companies as the company shows the latest solar energy panels imported from the Chinese “Longyi” company, which is known for producing the best panels in the world, as well as the latest tubular batteries imported from the Indian “Luminous”  company, which is a leading company in the field of electricity and providing reliable energy backup storage solutions since its foundation in 1988.

He pointed out that alternative energy is an important factor in the reconstruction process that Syria is witnessing, as well as in the process of economic and human development worldwide.

“ The company seeks to have a key role in this field and to contribute to the reconstruction process as alternative energy is one of the requirements of the present time, not only in Syria, but at the world level, which is heading towards solar energy and alternative energy,” Kaadah added.

He went on to say: “During the coming period, we will adopt a new policy based on increasing the volume of marketing and opening new branches in governorates and sending our representatives there… The company’s plan during 2023 is to increase its sales by a rate ranging between 50 to 60 percent.

Kaadah in addition asserted that participation in a such exhibitions is a good step towards searching for customers.

The visitors of the exhibitions were also searching for other kinds of products such as marble.

High quality Marble, Granite and Travertine are shown by the “United Ugarit” company.

Finance Director of the company, Moaz Tahhan told us: “Our company was established in 1989, and it is specialized in engineering industry such as countertops, laundries, floors, kitchens and building facades based in Damascus, Syria. we provide the best work in the local market for the most important project in Syria, we bring a unique touch to each project.”

The company exports national marble and travertine that is extracted and brought from the mountains of Damascus countryside after preparing it as building facades and floors.

Tahan referred to the need for craftsmen and specialists in this  industry, which focuses on how to deal with stone, stressing the company’s keenness on participating in the “Buildex” exhibition every year with the aim of communicating directly with customers and competing companies, and exchanging experiences for taking part in reconstruction process.

He indicated that engineers from Lattakia, Alepoo and Sweida visited the company’s pavilion in the exhibition.

The company’s headquarters, according to Tahan, is located in the industrial city of Adra in the countryside of Damascus, and it has distinguished engineering cadres that provide innovative solutions and modern designs at competitive prices, in addition to specialized technical workshops that are keen on mastering work and reducing waste in quantities to the minimum limits using specialized software and advanced cutting methods.
