SDF militia continues to prevent the work of two bakeries in Hasaka and Qamishli

The US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia continues to prevent the operation of the “Hasakah First Bakery” and “Al-Baath Bakery” in Qamishli for the 8th consecutive day in a bid to tighten its siege on the citizens in Hasakah.

Director of “Al-Baath Bakery” Sattam Al-Mahmoud told SANA that the bakery has been closed  for the 8th day due to its seizure by the so-called “Asayesh” forces, which are affiliated to the SDF militia, and which prevented the workers from operating this facility.

Al-Mahmoud pointed out that the SDF militia also refused to give the workers flour from the warehouses to compensate for the cutting off of  flour  supplies to the bakery.

SANA reporter clarified that the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli have been witnessing sever scarcity of bread that exacerbates the suffering of citizens who, on their part, called on the international humanitarian organizations to immediately interfere as to stop the SDF militia’s aggressive practices that affect their daily life.
