Damascus, (ST) – He presented himself strongly in the game of Taekwondo as a player, coach and referee, until he became one of its well-known experts on the local and international levels. He is the international coach and referee Satouf Al-Muhammad.
Al-Muhammad, 41, started had practiced Taekwondo since his early childhood, from the age of five in Aleppo Governorate, and progressed through its age groups as a player, and monopolized the title of the Republic Championship for consecutive years, specifically from 1995 until 2006.
In a statement to SANA, Al-Muhammad said: I started practicing Taekwondo in the first years of its entry into Syria, and mastered its methods after an intensive training period.I participated in many championships in all age groups, and competed strongly for local championship titles for many years, after which I headed to the training field, and the launch was from the Police Club in Aleppo in 2004.
Al-Muhammad added: I trained in many clubs in Aleppo, most notably Al-Ittihad and Al-Nairab before moving to training abroad, and I had a successful training experience in many clubs, including in Lebanon in 2013 and then in Saudi Arabia since 2014 through the Arts of Asia Club, which is considered one of the largest clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Muhammad who has been the coach of the Syrian national team for a number of years holds an international master’s certificate, which is the highest certificate in the world in the game, in addition to an international laboratory certificate from the World Federation, and holds a first-class coach and referee certificate locally.
