SARC receives 6 dialysis machines from UAE  

DAMASCUS, JUL.20, (ST)- Today, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization received medical equipment and dialysis equipment provided by the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of Emirati Ambassador Hassan Al-Shehhi, at the Al-Othman Medical Endowment Charitable Complex in Damascus.

The head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Eng. Khaled Haboubati, told reporters that the received equipment included 6 dialysis machines and medical supplies, noting the importance of the humanitarian support provided by the UAE to the Syrian people.

For his part, the director of the complex, Dr. Nizar Ghazal, said that the complex is a charitable medical center affiliated with the Ministry of Endowments in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and it consists of a number of specialized clinics and departments, such as the radiology and computed tomography department, the laboratory,  physical therapy and the kidney dialysis department.

He added that the received equipment and devices will be added to the 20 devices that exist in the complex for serving patients and visitors.
